Steal The Show Performance Checklist

This checklist is How to Win in boxes. Run it before your spotlight. Run it again after a loss and circle the first unchecked line. That line is tonight’s homework.

Use the outfit planner if clothing is the gap. Use this page if the whole act is the gap.

Before the turn

• Song locked, hook known, shape checked on the song tier.
• Outfit locked with a five-word idea. Looks tier if unsure.
• Opening light ready. Mid-song change ready. Close snap ready. Stage design.
• Only one signature effect reserved for the chorus. Effects tier.
• Extra menus closed. Controls if you are on a phone.
• I know I will judge the other seven, not AFK in the seats. How to Vote.

During the open

• I move or pose on the first hook, not after a long intro. How to Perform.
• Camera shows my face more than my back.
• I do not open the shop, codes, or chat commands on the first beat. Codes can wait.

During the hold

• I repeat a readable groove instead of random jumps.
• I use stage width once.
• I do not trigger the big effect early and sit in fog.
• If a beta control fails, I wait one beat and continue. Beta status.

During the close

• I spend the last hook on a picture.
• I hold still for a breath so the last frame is clean.
• I am not already typing “star me.”

After I leave the stage

• I watch the next act as a student.
• I vote with the rubric: song, outfit, stage, performance.
• I do not revenge-zero a real act.
• I write S, O, L, or P as the weak letter if I lost.

After the lobby

• I open only the guide that matches the weak letter from the Guides Hub.
• I do not download a script because I placed mid-pack. Script safety.
• I recheck weekly notes only if something felt newly broken.

Thirty-second version

Hook known. Face visible. Three lights. One effect. Menus closed. Open on time. Hold a groove. Close on a picture. Vote fairly.

If you can say those nine fragments, you are ready. If you cannot, stay on this page for one more pass, then go play on the official experience.

If you skip the after-lobby line every time, you will repeat the same mid-pack finish. The checklist only works when the weak letter changes from lobby to lobby. A notebook with three identical letters is a diagnosis, not a decoration. Keep a note on your phone with the last three letters. Three P’s in a row means you are dressing well and still opening late — go back to How to Perform, not to the catalog.

Bring the thirty-second version onto your lock screen if you play on a phone. The full page can wait until you are back in the lobby browser. A lock-screen card with nine fragments beats a forgotten tab that you cannot open mid-chorus. The checklist does not steal the show for you. It stops you from donating the spotlight to a closed menu or an empty intro. The crowd still has to like the act. Give them an act they can like.
